Yes. Handyman work is how we started, and we still take it seriously. A loose door, a sticking window, a leaky faucet, a new light fixture — call us.

Yes. S&M Construction LLC is licensed in the State of Delaware and fully insured with general liability coverage. We're happy to send you our certificate of insurance before any work starts — just ask.

We pull permits when permits are needed, and our work is built to International Residential Code and Delaware standards. Every time.

Depends on the project, the season, and what's already on the schedule. Smaller jobs and handyman work usually get scheduled sooner. Bathroom and kitchen remodels generally need more lead time. Bigger jobs like additions or full basement builds schedule out further.

We're upfront about timing. If we can't fit you in soon, we'll tell you. No string-along.

Yes. For any work that requires a permit — additions, decks, structural work, electrical, plumbing — we handle the application, the inspections, and the close-out. You don't have to chase paperwork at city hall.

For smaller cosmetic work that doesn't require a permit, we don't pull one. We'll always tell you upfront which category your project falls into.

For most projects, we collect a deposit at signing, progress payments at agreed-upon milestones, and the final balance at completion after your walkthrough.

Exact terms get spelled out in the contract before any work starts. We accept check, Zelle, and most major cards.

Yes. We stand behind our work with a one-year warranty on labor. Manufacturer warranties on materials apply separately and we'll provide all that paperwork at handoff.

If something goes wrong on a job we did, call us. We come back and make it right.

Sí. We speak fluent English and Spanish. Whether you prefer one or the other for the estimate, the contract, or job-site conversations — we've got you covered.

For most projects, yes — and the on-site estimate is free. We come look at the work, take measurements, listen to what you want, and send you a detailed written quote.

For very small jobs or quick repairs, sometimes we can quote off photos and a phone call. Whatever's easier for you.
